Salary Range:$50,000.00 To 70,000.00 Annually

Summary:

The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of a full-service branch office, ensuring efficient administration, customer service excellence, and adherence to the bank's objectives. Responsible for driving business growth, enhancing customer relationships, and fostering a sales and service-oriented culture within the branch. Provides leadership, guidance, and training to branch staff to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all in-branch customer service requests and operations.
  • Assume responsibility for till operations in the absence of the Head Teller.
  • Achieve referral, account, and retention goals.
  • Cultivate branch identity, drive sales, and foster accountability for customer service and branch success.
  • Implement new products, sales promotions, and incentive programs to stimulate growth.
  • Originate residential and installment loans and oversee lending activities.
  • Supervise Assistant Branch Managers and Tellers providing guidance and support.
  • Make informed recommendations on staffing matters including assignments, promotions, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular staff training  meetings enforcing bank policies, procedures, and sales techniques.
  • Ensure security measures are in place to prevent fraudulent activities and minimize risk.
  • Maintain effective communication between branch staff and management through regular reporting and attendance at meetings.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of bank products, services, and promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution.
  • Review and approve requests such as large check cashing, bank checks, and cash counts.
  • Uphold branch performance standards in areas such as operating control, compliance, and customer service.
  • Continuously enhance banking knowledge and sales skills through training and education.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience, preferably in banking.
  • Strong customer service and cash handling experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in small groups.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position with hours aligned with branch operation times.
  • Flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend work as job demands.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required upon request.

Language Skills:

  • Proficiency in primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills desirable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to managers and customers.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 10 to 20 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and handling money.
  • Proficiency in operating office equipment.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office/retail environment with ambient room temperatures and lighting.
