A staff nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, an 18-bed ICU step-down unit, is responsible for delegating, coordinating and managing all aspects of nursing care and services provided to the patient and family in a safe, timely, cost-effective and respectful manner. Patient- and family-centered care is delivered in collaboration with the patient, family and healthcare team members.

• Tailored Care Planning: Take the lead in crafting comprehensive care plans, drawing from meticulous nursing assessments, medical diagnoses and collaborative clinical insights gathered from patients, families and healthcare providers.
• Outcome Ownership: Assess and analyze patient responses to treatments and interventions, driving continuous improvement in care outcomes and multidisciplinary healthcare services.
• Evidence-Based Excellence: Integrate the latest evidence-based research into your practice, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and innovation in nursing care delivery.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, colleagues and the wider community, fostering effective teamwork and collaboration to exceed customer service expectations.
