Job Description Summary:
The EM Residency Coordinator Temp will assist in the administration of a unit's Residency or Fellowship program. The coordinator assures that programs for the education of residents and/or fellows are properly organized, well-coordinated, effective, monitored and in compliance with requirements set by KUMC's GME office and by accrediting agencies such as the ACGME. May assist in recruiting new residents and/or fellows. Supports residents and/or fellows in the program. Provides administrative functions for the unit that may include scheduling meetings, organizing day-to-day activities, coordinating with grant partners, recording information for reporting and tracking and troubleshooting problems.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications:

Education: BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Experience:
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Qualifications:

Work Experience: Previous GME experience.

Job Duties:
  • Will assist with scheduling of meetings, taking meeting notes.
  • Will assist with managing evaluations and tracking of tasks.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new residents.
  • Assist with resident didactic and simulation schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Statement:

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
