Job Summary

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for the position of Lecturer. Exceptional candidates at the Senior Lecturer level may also be considered. This is a non-tenure-eligible faculty position with duties oriented primarily towards undergraduate instruction in the mechanical and aerospace engineering programs. The typical teaching load for this position will be 3 coursers per semester. The initial appointment is for 2 years and is renewable. The anticipated start date is August 2024.

Applicants must hold a Ph. D degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (or a closely related field). Applicants should have strong written and oral communication skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Applicants with industrial experience or professional licensure are encouraged to apply.
