Job Description

The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources department of Analytical Services is looking for a Manager of Research Activities to manage the operational, financial, and personnel activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explains policies and procedures to advise and assist others and/or team
  • Oversees and guides the processes to complete work
  • Performs work along with those supervised/managed
  • Applies operational research practices and coordinates with other closely related teams/areas to improve efficiency
  • Administer and supervise the acquisition, processing and maintenance of analytical data
  • Provide research assistance to faculty, staff scholars, students, and other external parties
  • Possesses formal supervisory responsibilities
  • Coordinates resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives and offset competing priorities
  • Uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
  • Impacts the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and its contribution to the Research function
  • Explains information, conveys performance expectations and handles sensitive issues
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Shift

Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant analytical experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and analytical skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Commensurate with Experience

$50, 367 - $71,000
