Job Description

Responsible for operations of the assigned department and clinic and for leading the full cycle of operations and achieving the desired clinical, operational, financial, growth and people goals of assigned areas.

- Manage and direct a high performing team(s) by interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating, coaching, counseling, disciplining and leading clinic and department staff within assigned area of responsibility. Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction and employee engagement, analyze external data, benchmarks, and individual feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, implement action plans to achieve desired results.
- Assist with the development, administration and achievement of the budget and financial targets of the assigned clinic and department. Establish, maintain and monitor staffing levels, productivity and throughput of clinic and department. Regular monitoring and course correction of financial operations as needed
- Coordinate and direct development of processes and procedures for assigned areas, which are compatible with established policies of UMHC and SOM and all accrediting and regulatory governing bodies. Lead performance improvement activities for areas of responsibility, engaging staff and physician involvement, and ensuring clinical and operational performance that meets best practice standards
- In conjunction with Director of Clinic Operations and Medical Chairman identify key performance metrics and collects and analyzes data to evaluate clinical and operational performance. Initiate actions for improvement, involving appropriate staff and physicians.
- Assist in development of new product lines for assigned area including identifying business opportunities, developing and implementing a business plan, and monitoring results. As appropriate to the business opportunity, will collaborate with leaders at other healthcare facilities to implement service, including protocol development and training, and ensuring product meets provider/facility expectations.

Shift

Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, occasional evenings and weekends

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a health or business related field.
Requires at least five or more years experience within a health care setting of which the incumbent has a minimum of one year supervisory experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related area is preferred.
Experience with finance, and performance improvement strongly preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $90,251 - $100,000 Annually
Grade: PAT-012
