Job Description

The University of Missouri School of Medicine's, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health is pleased to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a passion for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialty within general obstetrics and gynecology and seeking a strong start to their career as an NPSC.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Perform essential patient care functions as they relate to OBGYN, reproductive endocrine and infertility patients.
Assist in the clinical processes of OBGYN & Women's Health.
Assist in the evaluation and management of OBGYN patients.
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate a high level of autonomy in the diagnosis and treatment of actual potential health problems.
Assist in the identification of trends related to patients and participates in quality improvement activities.
Aide in the education and support of partner hospitals and physicians as it relates to the care of OBGYN patients.
Help guide the development and implementation of structure, process, and outcomes standards.
Other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care

Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care

Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $90,251 - $147,285
Grade: PAT - 012
University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER - SPECIALTY CARE (6435)
