Job Description

The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate the administrative functions for the Divisions of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular. This person will work closely with the division chief, faculty, and departmental personnel to achieve divisional goals. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, organized, excellent communicators, and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities while remaining flexible to changing requests throughout the day.

In this role you will regularly:
•Provide administrative support to the Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery faculty members. This includes calendar management and coordination of meetings.
•Complete time off requests and coordinate travel.
•Tracking of physician and advanced practice providers memberships and dues.
•Assisting with creation of monthly attending call schedule and entry into the University call schedule system and QGenda.
•Maintain faculty CVs, myVita information, and Division CV.
•Monitor clinical compliance report for providers ensuring timely documentation.
•Coordination of CME for the Cardio Morbidity and Mortality Conference and and Vascular Case Conference
•Purchasing of supplies
•Performs other related duties.

Shift

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17.00 - $23.87 hourly
Grade: GGS - 006
