Job Description

The Senior Research Associate position will support research projects at the Immunomodulation and Translation Research Program at the Department of Pediatrics. The candidate will conduct studies that use novel biologics to modulate the immune response as a means of preventing cell, tissue, and solid organ graft rejection and cancer immunotherapy in preclinical models. These studies involve cell culture, immune cell proliferation, immune monitoring using flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, PCR, cloning, various rodent manipulations. Assist with monitoring and organization of the immunomodulatory program, preparation of reagents, animal inventory, animal and laboratory safety regulatory issues, budgetary compliance and ordering of research supplies.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
