Job Description

General duties include:

Provides technical and clerical services to students including collecting required documentation and processing relevant student data to determine financial aid eligibility, assisting students with processing payments and delivering financial counseling that promotes a complete financial plan.

Skills and duties:
  • Provide excellent customer service to students visiting the office.
  • Have a strong understanding of financial aid processes and programs.
  • May be responsible for coordinating financial aid records with data processing.
  • Advise students, prospective students and parents regarding financial aid and their student account.
  • Provides cashiering services for the campus community.
  • Bill Third Party entries and collect payments
  • Process delinquent account to collections
  • Process student and corporate refunds
  • Other duties as assigned.

Shift

40 hours per week (additional hours may be needed during peak times)

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $16.23 - $21.00 per hour
