CEE 1203 – Construction Professional Development

The University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking a lecturer to teach - CEE1203 – Construction Professional Development for Fall 2024. The goal of this course is to teach the student how construction-related organizations (owner, designer, contractor) are organized and managed. The course covers such topics as marketing, TQM, ethics, risk management, and personnel management. The course emphasizes a professional perspective to the practice of engineering and construction management and incorporates lectures by practitioners of various professions. Minimum requirements are a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in construction or engineering.
