The Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM) Area at the Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration (Pitt Business) invites applications from interested professionals in Western PA for part-time adjunct faculty positions in ISTM. We are seeking individuals with at least 5 years of industry-related background to teach Undergraduate/Graduate-level courses in Information Systems (IS), such as Introduction to IS, Project Management, Electronic Commerce & Web Applications, and Data Programming. Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Management Information Systems or a related field

• At least 5 years of industry-related background to teach Undergraduate/Graduate-level courses in Information Systems (IS), such as Introduction to IS, Project Management, Electronic Commerce & Web Applications, and Data Programming

• Knowledge of the Pitt Business ISTM program and student academic needs

• Ability to teach on-campus classes at various times of the day

• Excellent communication skills

• Student-facing experience with the ability to successfully transfer industry knowledge to students in a classroom setting

Related work or prior teaching experience in Information Systems or a related area is necessary.
