The University of Puget Sound is hiring a Digital Media Specialist to join our Tech Services Department!

This position provides efficient classroom and events support with a strong customer service commitment and user satisfaction as the ultimate goal. This position has two major areas of responsibility: 1) support students, faculty and staff in use of A/V equipment and in the creation of A/V presentations; 2) troubleshoot, maintain and repair audio/visual equipment in classrooms and other campus venues to support classrooms and events.

To be considered for this role, a candidate must have:

• An associate degree or 2 years related experience performing the essential job functions.
• 2 years experience in the use of audio and video recording equipment and software to edit and produce finished audio and video presentations.
• 1 year experience in installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of analog and digital A/V equipment.
• An ability to respectfully work, communicate, and provide leadership within a diverse campus community.

Compensation and Benefits:
• The pay range for this position is $23.50 to $24.04 per hour.Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
• This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
