Duties/Responsibilities:
The Building Services Assistant I – LDA. position is housed at Lone Oaks Farm, a facility operated by UT Extension. The position is responsible to the Building Services Assistant II. This is a 40 hour per week position.
Duties include:
· Provide custodial services and other general facilities support at Lone Oaks Farm, a 4-H and events center in West Tennessee.
· Cleaning and provisioning residences and meeting/event spaces.
· Maintaining inventory of supplies in residences.
· Greeting guests upon arrival to the Farm
· Coordinating with service providers to provide access to Farm facilities
Qualifications :
Minimum/Required Qualifications (include education experience, skills & abilities, licenses & certifications):
· High school diploma or GED.
· Minimum 1 year of related experience required.
· Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, positive attitude, strong work ethic and physical stamina to complete duties in a timely and excellent manner.
· Knowledge of and experience in custodial services.
· Ability to operate custodial equipment.
· Clear background check will be required.
· Must have a valid Driver’s license.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of experience in custodial services, particularly in the hospitality industry.
