Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Science or other relevant discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to create undergraduate and graduate learning environments that address the needs of students from a variety of backgrounds with differing learning styles and abilities and to teach courses in mechanics, materials, and/or structural engineering. Further, the successful applicant will be expected to develop an externally sponsored research program, mentor graduate students, collaborate with other faculty, and serve the university and profession.

The letter of interest should be addressed to: Professor Robert B. Gilbert, Chair, Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering.

Review of applications will begin on December 15, 2023, and will continue until an appropriate candidate is identified.
