Job Summary

As a Pardot Administrator you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Pardot platform to support our marketing automation initiatives. This role will work very closely with the Software Solutions team due to the integration of Pardot and Salesforce. In addition to day-to-day administration tasks, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture of our data within Pardot and developing strategies to maximize the platform's effectiveness in achieving our marketing objectives as well as supporting the initiative to eventually move to Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administration:

- Manage and maintain the Pardot platform, including user setup, permissions, and system configuration.

- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure smooth operation.

- Stay updated on Pardot releases and new features, and implement best practices to optimize performance.

2. Data Architecture:

- Design and implement data structures within Pardot to support effective segmentation, personalization, and targeting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.

- Develop and maintain data governance policies to ensure compliance and data quality standards.

3. Strategy Development:

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and marketing objectives.

- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to leverage Pardot capabilities for lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.

- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.

- Recommend and implement improvements to campaigns, workflows, and processes based on performance analysis.

4. Training and Support:

- Provide training and support to users on Pardot functionality, best practices, and workflows.

- Act as a subject matter expert on Pardot capabilities and features, offering guidance and advice to stakeholders.

- Document processes, procedures, and guidelines for Pardot administration and usage.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

- 2+ year's experience as a Pardot and/or Marketing Cloud Administrator, with a strong understanding of Pardot functionality and integration with Salesforce (knowledge of Pardot API's a plus)

- Preference will be given to candidates with Pardot and/or Marketing Cloud certification(s).

- Experience in data architecture and data management, with a focus on marketing data and CRM integration (Salesforce preferred).

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
