Summary:

We are seeking a current VCU graduate student with strong academic records who has excellent research and statistics knowledge and skills as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills. This individual will work with two faculty researchers from VCU School of Education on a federally funded research project as a researcher assistant on large-scale secondary data analysis.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Managing large-scale datasets.
- Identifying and sorting variables.
- Analyzing descriptive and inferential statistics.
- Summarizing and synthesizing research findings.
- Scholarly writing for publications and presentations.
- Other project related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Obtained a bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related area.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program at VCU.
- Has completed research methods and statistics courses.
- Excellent large-scale data analysis skills.
- Excellent academic writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An earned Master's degree and currently enrolled in a doctoral program.
- Previous experience working on large-scale secondary data analysis projects.
- Knowledge and skills in interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
