Industrial Safety Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and implementing effective safety programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance management, risk management, and occupational health. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. Duties: - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant standards - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and address any safety concerns - Collaborate with management to develop and deliver safety training programs for employees - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences - Manage workers compensation claims, including coordinating with insurance providers and ensuring timely reporting - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in safety regulations, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary - Oversee the selection, maintenance, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Conduct regular safety meetings with employees to promote awareness and address any safety issues or concerns Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in a construction or industrial setting - Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers compensation laws, and other relevant safety standards - Experience in risk management and implementing effective safety programs - Familiarity with construction management software is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
