Architect, Service Delivery Manager (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO)

 

Architect solutions for performance improvement to enable 99.99% system stability. Review, design, and work toward building best alternative solutions. Suggest the best practices in end-to-end systems. Perform capacity planning, memory analysis and log analysis across applications. Perform API monitoring and working with engineers to build a dashboard for monitoring APIs. Find performance bottlenecks from end-to-end systems while injecting and reading the data. Suggest the best practices that need to be followed in all components. Perform program management, risk identification, and solution prioritization. Implement Technology Operations service delivery model through a predefined framework. Lead performance improvements and capacity planning for company's digital and retail applications. Work closely with technology engineering teams, product, and business. Partner with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and deliver on the service level agreements. Perform resource utilization monitoring including CPU, Memory, Network, and DB Assist and suggest performance tuning for critical monitoring applications. Salary Range: $158,627 to $179,687 per year.

 

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Data Architect, Database Developer, Data Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving IT platform implementation.

 

Must also have the following special skills:3 years of professional experience performing implementation and performance tuning of applications; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Splunk, Kafka, Dynatrace, Big Pands, or AWS Open Source to develop software code in programming languages including Java or Python; 3 years of professional experience utilizing Onprim and Cloud Data Center; 3 years of professional experience performing capacity planning and disaster recovery planning; 3 years of professional experience utilizing C, C++, Core Java, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, PL/SQL, Oracle ADF, Spring/SpringBoot, and Hibernate Spark; and 3 years of professional experience utilizing Cloud in Amazon Web Services (including JConsole, JVisualvm, Dynatrace, and Debug).
